Cathedral Bells Ring Out For Platinum Jubilee

All twelve of the Cathedral’s bells will ring out across the city on Saturday 4th June as we attempt a full peal. Peals on twelve bells last approx. three and a half hours and require concentration throughout from the bell ringers.  Peals are usually rung for special occasions, and none so more deserving than this one.

Ringing starts at about 9.00am and due to finish around 1.30-2.00pm.

Saturday 4th June: Coffee in the Cathedral

Do join us for our monthly coffee morning from 10am to 12 noon. This month there will be a Jubilee theme with coffee and home-made scones served.

Sunday 5th June 3.30pm

Join us for a special Platinum Jubilee Celebration Evensong.

Join us for a special service to mark the Platinum Jubilee, with prayers for the Queen and tea and cake after the service.
