School's out for summer so that means our ever-popular Stay and Play sessions are back.
Stay and Play: Brick Creatives encourage children to use their imagination and creative skills to bring their big ideas to life with little bricks! These sessions are a great way to encourage creativity, improve fine motor skills and most importantly have fun.
We've got two sessions to choose from this summer and you're welcome to come along to one or both.
Wednesday 14th August from 10am -12pm
The theme for this session is 'Sports Superstars'. From cricket to cycling, swimming to skateboarding, join us as try to create a mega sporting arena in the Cathedral and have some Olympic themed fun! There'll also be some quick and easy sports-related crafts including medal making to enjoy.
Wednesday 28th August from 10am -12pm
The theme for this session is 'Summer in the City'. Come along and build your favourite things about summer to add to our city scape and have a go at crafting some colourful ice lollies.
Stay and Play Brick Creatives is suitable for children of all ages, with big bricks available for our little builders. There is no need to book, this is a free, drop-in event so come along at a time that suits you. Adults are required to stay with their children throughout the session.
