Our annual concert, organised with Alzheimer's Society, will take place at Chelmsford Cathedral next week
This year, as part of Dementia Action Week, we are inviting people from across the county to come together to sing songs from the 70s in celebration of the positive effect singing has on our minds. There will be fun vocal warm-ups and a mix of songs with lots of friendly staff on hand to offer advice and support.
“The concert is a fabulous event,” says Claire McGeoch, local services manager for Alzheimer's Society. “It brings together people living with dementia, their families and carers, to celebrate the benefits and joys of singing. We will have plenty of literature available that we can share on the day to help inform people who come.”
All are welcome, with no booking needed, from 1.30pm on Tuesday May 20th. See below for other Chelmsford-based events organised by Alzheimer's Society next week.
