Following her consecration as the Bishop of Barking at St Paul's Cathedral, earlier this week, The Rt Revd Lynne Cullens will be officially welcomed at a service being held at Chelmsford Cathedral.
The service takes place at 4pm on Saturday 26th February with refreshments following the service to welcome Bishop Lynne. As with many events at present, the service will be ticketed and free tickets are available through Eventbrite.
The Dean of Chelmsford, The Very Nicholas Henshall, said ahead of the service;
It was fantastic to be present at Bishop Lynne’s consecration at St Paul’s Cathedral on 25th January and we are very much looking forward to her installation here at Chelmsford Cathedral, marking the beginning of her ministry as Bishop of Barking. As a fellow Mancunian I am also very happy to have another northerner on the Bishop’s Leadership Team.
