Chorister life is busy but a lot of fun, and the benefits of singing are wide, including free musical tuition and singing lessons; singing also helps with literacy, numeracy, social skills and more.
Why not find out what being a chorister is like? The Cathedral is holding an afternoon on Saturday 24th April between 2 and 5pm, where boys aged 6-10 can find out what being a chorister is really like. Meet other choristers, play musical games and sing in the Cathedral. For an informal chat, or to book a place, please email James Davy.
What our choristers say about the choir:
“The Cathedral Choir is like a family”
“I’ve made friends I wouldn’t have met otherwise”
“People are helpful and help you to find things out”
“Choir has improved my confidence”
