On Sunday afternoon we gathered to say farewell to the Very Revd Paul Kennington.
Paul joined the Cathedral as interim Dean in February 2023 and today we gave thanks for this ministry with us before he returns to his parish, St Andrew's in Leytonstone.
We were joined by friends from across the city and Diocese and two new pieces of music commissioned especially for this service were performed by the Cathedral Choir.
At the end of the service, Paul handed his Cathedral cope to Canon Sebastian to place on the altar as a symbol of his departure.
