Donations start their journey to Ukraine

The Cathedral has been a collection point for donations for Ukraine over the last two weeks and this morning, two volunteers from Felsted-Aid came and collected more than 35 boxes of toiletries, clothing and items for babies ready for three lorries to deliver to Ukraine next week. The Dean of Chelmsford, Nicholas Henshall, and Head Verger John helped load the van.

Felsted-Aid were delighted with the donations received, knowing first hand the problems the people of Ukraine are facing; the charity has supported children in Ukraine for more than 25 years. The charity has had so much donated that their lorries are now full, but they urgently need financial support to fund the delivery.  If you can help, please go to their website, to support the journey at uk-aid.org/
