In Matthew's gospel we meet these very unusual characters. But Matthew doesn't mention three people or call them kings. So who are the Magi? Astronomers? Wise people? Matthew shows that Jesus did not come just to save the good, he came to save the whole of creation and these wise wordly people lay down their gifts before the baby. He came for them, and us too.
