St Francis of Assisi, often regarded as the most extraordinary saint of the western world. From 'lad about town', something changed within him whilst in prison following his capture whilst on a campaign as a soldier. Francis heard God call him to rebuild the Church and his legacy today is the group of people who, behind the scenes, carry on his humble service with joy, simplicity and mercy.
