We are delighted to announce our new autumn programme, featuring a variety of services, events, and a special sermon series titled Great Hope in a World of Change: War, Peace and Global Turmoil.
This thought-provoking sermon series compliments our Mars: War & Peace event at the end of October. During the coming months we will explore different aspects of justice, hope and care for our world, drawing on the wisdom of the Scriptures as it appears in the Lectionary for the season.
Our preachers will explore God’s especial honouring of the poor, the voiceless, the enslaved and the dispossessed, themes of greed and
generosity, our care for the fragile earth, and the mystery of divine justice.
In addition to the sermon series, the autumn programme highlights our Mars events, Keene Lectures, Breakfast with the Bible and details on our Harvest and Remembrance services.
