Vocations Sunday

Vocations Sunday is a special day in the life of the Church of England which is designed to encourage people to consider whether God might be calling them to some sort of ministry.

That might mean ordination, it might mean helping out at the local food bank or homeless shelter, it might mean helping with the children’s ministry or it might mean stepping into a new role at work. Vocations are not just for vicars!

Here are four short clips from people, with connections to the Cathedral, who have heard that call and have taken the next step in their journey.  Here are their vocation stories.

Diocesan Director of Ordinands, The Revd Tim Goodbody has recorded a sermon for Vocations Sunday.
