Canon for Education and Safeguarding

Kate has been an Associate Priest at Chelmsford Cathedral since October 2013. She contributes to the worshipping and pastoral life of the Cathedral, leading services, preaching and teaching. She has particular responsibility for the Cathedral's education offer focusing on enquirers, study groups and fellowship groups.

Kate is the Cathedral's Safeguarding Lead and leads the team of Day Chaplains. Kate is also Chaplain at Chelmsford St Mellitus. 

She was ordained in 2009 after studying with St Mellitus College and was a curate at All Saints Springfield Green.
