Fellowship Groups

Friends with Jesus, friends with one another

‘I do not call you servants any longer, because the servant does not know what the master is doing; but I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything that I have heard from my Father.’  John 15.15

Fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ is not an optional extra, but a core element of our Christian discipleship. At Chelmsford Cathedral, fellowship groups are run by members of the congregation in their homes, normally in the evening, but there is also a midweek day time group that meets in the Chapter House. Fellowship Groups should be fluid groups, inviting new people and splitting so that new groups can form. This is not always easy to manage, but it is at least an expectation. They are also a place where not only can we study and learn together, but even more importantly, support one another in love and prayer.

If you are a member of the congregation and would like to join a fellowship group, please speak to Imogen on a Sunday morning, email her on or call her on 01245 294486
