Do you know a child who loves to sing? Chelmsford Cathedral is excited to offer a unique opportunity for children in years 3-6 to be involved with the Cathedral Choir.
To help families learn more about the opportunities available in the Cathedral Choir, Chelmsford Cathedral is hosting a series of taster sessions for children. These sessions will be held after school at the Cathedral, starting on 21st October for girls followed by further sessions on Mondays 4th and 25th November.
All are welcome, no previous musical experience is necessary. All we ask for is enthusiasm!
Being a chorister not only provides free, high-quality musical training. Choristers also develop confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills in a supportive environment. The opportunity to perform at a professional standard alongside experienced musicians can also lead to enhanced academic performance through increased discipline and dedication. Children also build lifelong friendships and enjoy travel opportunities with the choir, all while earning choir pay.
