Mothers’ Union thrives at Chelmsford Cathedral. It is a place where people come together, to share friendship and listen to talks from local people and interest groups.
There are two sections, one which meets in the afternoon on the second Thursday of each month in the Chapter House adjacent to the Cathedral. The evening section meets in the same place but on the first Thursday of each month at 8pm.
There is a program of widely ranging talks and activities and anyone can choose to attend either section or both. Despite the Mothers’ Union name, men are also welcome to attend and become members. The main aim is to promote all that strengthens and preserves marriage and Christian family life.
The programme for both sections for this year can be downloaded here.
