CHARITY CYCLISTS VISIT CHELMSFORD
Two cyclists visited Chelmsford Cathedral last night (June 28) for Festal Evensong on St Peter's Day as part of their charity pledge to cycle to 29 cathedrals in aid of their church, St Matthews, Camden Town. They were at St Alban's in the morning - now they have 27 more cathedrals to visit! They plan to help raise £750,000 for a parish room, the first phase of a massive development programme totalling a million pounds.
The cyclists are the parish priest, Fr Philip North and his pastoral assistant, Peter Garvie. They were waved on their way by the Dean, the Very Revd Peter Judd. (Photo in NEWS)
